Nobody warns you about the guilt.
You laughed at something last week and the drop came straight after.
You still have the voicemail. You haven't been able to delete it.
You've built a whole driving route around one street.
Someone told you it's been long enough now.
You dream about them and you don't know whether that means you're healing, or that you're not.
You ate something you love and felt wrong for enjoying it.
You were the strong one at the funeral. Nobody has asked how you are since.

None of that means you're grieving wrong. It means the grief has nowhere to go.

"I came in not knowing what to expect. Susan held such a safe space... I left feeling quieter inside than I have in years." ~ Anna T.
THE GAP

You've talked about it. It's still there.
Maybe you sat with a counsellor. Maybe it was your sister, or a friend who let you say the same things over and over. And it helped, in the sense that you understand your grief now. You could explain it to someone clearly.
You still feel it in your chest.
That isn't a failure on your part and it isn't a failure of therapy. Talking works on the conscious mind. Grief doesn't only live there. It's held in the body, in the nervous system, in the part of you that decided...without ever asking you... that joy was a form of betrayal.
Understanding it and releasing it are two different things. You've done the first one.

What Joy After Loss actually is.
Joy After Loss is the name I give to the grief work I do. Let me be straight about what it is and what it isn't.
It isn't a psychic reading. I'm not going to promise you a message.
It's subconscious work. We go underneath the thinking, to where the guilt is actually stored, and we release it there. What's left is the love, without the weight it's been dragging behind it.
Because your connection to them was never the problem. The guilt was. The guilt convinced you that feeling better meant caring less, and that isn't how it works. You can hold your love for them and your own life in the same hands. That's the whole point of this work.
Some women come out of a session feeling closer to the person they lost than they have in years.
I can't promise you that. But I've seen it enough times to tell you it happens.

THE SHIFT
What changes
Before
✗ The weight hits you before you're properly awake.
✗ Guilt every time you laugh.
✗ You can't say their name without your throat closing.
✗ You avoid the song, the street, the date.
✗ Numb, or overwhelmed. Not much in between.
✗ You don't feel like yourself anymore.
⟶
After
You wake up with space. The grief is there. It isn't crushing you.
Joy, with nothing chasing it.
You talk about them with warmth. Sometimes you laugh.
You move through your life without mapping it around landmines.
You feel things without being taken over by them.
You feel like yourself. Not who you were before — but whole.
Living fully isn't a betrayal. It might be the truest way to honour them.

What actually happens in a session.
You stay awake. You stay aware. You're in control the entire time and you can stop whenever you want to. Hypnosis isn't unconsciousness... it's a focused, relaxed state where the part of your mind that's been holding all of this finally becomes reachable.
That's why it works when talking hasn't. We're not asking your thinking mind to understand the grief one more time. We're going underneath it.
Sessions run 90 minutes. In person in Springvale South, or online... I work with women all over the world by video and it's just as effective. You need a quiet room and an hour and a half where nobody needs you.
HOW I WORK
It all starts with a simple conversation, not a mountain of commitment.
When you click any of the steps above, you aren't signing up for a complicated package or trying to diagnose what you need by yourself. Beginning is completely gentle. We start by sitting down, either online or in person, to trace where these patterns are living in your system.
Your life doesn't look like anyone else's, which means your path through this work shouldn't either. I don't use rigid, one-size-fits-all scripts or clinical checklists. Instead, I am trained across several deep subconscious traditions... including Clinical Hypnotherapy, Quantum Journeys Hypnosis, QHHT®, Introspective Hypnosis, and Soulful Reconnection™.
This means I have the range to meet you exactly where you are; if one door doesn't open, I know how to try another.

Connect
We book a 1:1 Reset Call. This is a short, dedicated $47 AUD session where you tell me exactly what is going on, I listen, and together we see if this work feels right for you. The $47 call fee is fully credited right back toward your sessions when you decide to take the next step.
Personalised Session
Every single session we do is completely customized based on your unique history, your physical tension, and what your system needs to safely let go.
Lasting Change
By communicating directly with your subconscious mind, we shift the habit, the stress, or the block right at its root so the relief stays with you when you return to your normal routine.

STEP ONE • HOW WE BEGIN
Your Reset Call.
STEP TWO • CHOOSE YOUR DEPTH
One conversation.
Three ways forward.
All three core support areas run through these same customizable journeys.
Not sure which of these options is the right one? You don't have to figure it out alone while looking at a screen, that is the whole point of our call.
MEET SUSAN
A little about how I came to this work.
I came to this work the way I think most of us do... through my own grief.
My dad passed away on the 11th of November, 2005. I don't remember much about the months that followed, except that I was searching. Reading everything I could find about life after death, about what happens to the people we love, about whether the love itself goes anywhere. The teachers I found in those years... Neale Donald Walsch, Brian Weiss, Michael Newton, Dolores Cannon, Antonio Sangio... slowly stitched me back together. Not by helping me forget. By helping me understand.
Years later, during the COVID lockdown, I started seeing 11:11 everywhere. On clocks. On receipts. In numbers I had no reason to be looking at. I knew what it was. I felt it... clear as anything... that my dad was still here, in the way that the people we love are still here.
That was the moment I understood I wasn't supposed to keep this work to myself.
I trained in QHHT, then Introspective Hypnosis, then Clinical Hypnotherapy and I started doing for other people what those teachers, in their own way, had done for me. Helping them release what was keeping them stuck. Helping them feel the love again, without the weight of the guilt sitting on top of it.
This isn't a profession for me. It's my calling. And if you've found your way here... to this exact page, on this exact day... I don't think that's a coincidence either.
